| Beta versions of prism2.device and etherlink3.device (a replacement for 3c589.device) that support PCMCIA cards under AmigaOS4 and MorphOS are now available for download. Thanks must go to Chris McGonagle for testing several versions of the OS4 drivers on a PPC-equipped A1200 as I don't have such hardware.

A new update of Poseidon is available today. It can be downloaded using Trident online update or from my website http://www.platon42.de
Starting from V4.0, Poseidon is no longer keyfile bound -- it is only licenced to E3B hardware (and MorphOS). You cannot upgrade Poseidon to V4.x for using it with the Spider, Amithlon or Thylacine, so please don't attempt to do so, I will not provide the legacy archives for downgrading.

| This year's edition of the Codex Alpe Adria fair has been unfortunately cancelled. In its place, Radicadesign, with the collaboration of the Municipality of Papozze, is organizing a meeting called AIConf (Alternative Italian Conference) 2008, devoted to alternative platforms. The event will be held on Saturday 12th July in Papozze, near Rovigo, Italy, inside the Papozze's sport arena.

Hello all. I've uploaded a new OS4 compiler producing native PPC code:
This replaces and is a total re-write of the AgletM2 compiler, which produces M68K code for emulation.
Note that this requires OS4 final, the Hyperion SDK, and, for the included IDE, either GoldEd, CygnusEd, or TurboText.

| Eric Schwartz released a tribute to the Amiga called "Still Alive" a few months ago on YouTube. There's also an MP4 version of it, but so far, there was no Amiga native playback even though the animation itself is not very demanding (320x200 in 4 colours). The main problem was sync'ing the video with the music -- especially when the frame rate of the video is not exactly 50 Hz or 60 Hz. Latter also needed a playback routine of the original mp3, with less CPU demand (otherwise only 68060th would be able to play it back).
