A3000D pricing
« on: March 28, 2009, 05:30:13 AM »
What is a good price for a average A3000D?

Also, what is a good price for an A3000D main board?

Thanks.

I was lucky enough to pick up one with all the ram here for $200 (USD). the average price seen on Ebay (just bare bones) seems to be between 200- 350. An auction just ended tonight with one close to mint, boxed etc for $570 USD. So, the average is hard to say, seems to jump all over the place depending on the day. All I can say is that I have seen A4000 tower units fully loaded go for between $500 an $600 on Ebay, so $570 for a bare A3000 seems to be a bit high in my opinion.
But again, an A3000 seems to be a bit more rare than an A4000, so I guess at the end of the day it boils down to how badly you want one.

Thanks.
I need a mainboard and a replacement bezel. I do not know if I can buy one next month or not.

The best advice I can give is keep a diligent watch here, amibay, and Ebay. My case damaged when I got it in, so I was watching for a new case, and also found it here for $40. Now I am close on a deal with a A3000 keyboard shell, so When the smoke clears, in order for my A3000 to look very nice and matched. I will have spent close to $300. That is not including upgrading the Chips (which I am in the process of- IE Buster 11 etc) nor getting a Decent accelerator and Video cards etc.

All this and I am still planing on getting an A600, A1200, and an A4000.
