You want some Live Amiga Chat...?
Then come and chat on the Amiga.org IRC channel on irc.zirc.org!
IRC is a fast, efficient chat system, far better for quick chats than web
based systems like this forum. If you want to just chat about anything
Amiga, or even just want to chill out and talk live to fellow Amiga users
across the world - come on and join the chat.
#amiga.org is open 24 hours a day.
What do you need:
The easiest way to connect is via the web interface through a javascript
enabled web browser. Just fill in the login form and click 'join the
channel' here:
http://ajk.daug.net/amiga/irc.php
An alternative java client which also runs in a web browser (with the
java plugin) can be found here:
http://www.zirc.org/chat/
These web clients are fine for occasional use, but the best solution is to
run IRC client software on your computer. There are different clients for
different operating systems, here are a few suggestions:

- Mac Users:
- Windows Users:
- Linux Users:
Follow the instructions to install and accept the default settings. You

The network offers nick services for registering and protecting your
nickname and much more besides. For more information ask us in the channel
and/or see our FAQ:
http://ajk.daug.net/amiga/faq.php
There are also more localised ZiRC servers to choose from. A list can be
found here:
http://www.zirc.org/servers/
...Simply substitute irc.zirc.org in the instructions above for your
