Default Saw this section a little late

Hello,

I am posting around on this forum for a week now, and today I nothissed this section...

Hello everyone!

I'm Berry Bakker and I live in the Netherlands. Quite nice to see I'm not the only Dutchman around here :-) I'm 15 (yes 15!!!) years old, and I like OLD games and computers :-D Especially the Amiga :-D :-D :-D I've bought an Amiga 500 a year ago, but couldn't use it because I didn't had a power supply and software. Last week I've got an Amiga 500 with a lot of software from some nice people, they didn't need it anymore, but I'd loved to addopt the old girl :-) Now she's running fine, I'm gonna get a Syncdoubler or Multisync monitor for her, a joystick and a mouse :-)

:-D :-)

<NITPICK>

It´s "scandoubler", not "syncdoubler".

Is it? I've seen Syncdoublers and Scandoublers :-)

Scandoubler does ...?? :-?

Syncdoubler doubles the HSync frequention. That's what I need :-)

Scandoubler Changes 15khz amiga video output to 30 + so standard VGA monitors can display 15khz screens.

Hoya!

Cool to see a young lad owning an Amiga and being proud of it!!! :-)

Now, you MUST take *The Wow*!

Repeat after me:

I hereby declare that Micro$oft smells (ALWAYS use $ instead of S when you spell m$!).

I hereby declare that today's consoles are NO fun, only a CD32 is worth my time.

I hereby declare that 3D is NO better than bitmap. As a consequence, bitmap rules.

I swear to stop listening to the radio and to listen to Amiga Modules (also known as MODS) ONLY.

I hereby declare to erect an altar to the memory of Jay Miner (before you ask, the Genius who created our beloved computer) in my bedroom.

I hereby declare that peecees (ALWAYS use this spelling for extra sarcastic effect) have been created by Satan, and thus are EVIL, and that I will ALWAYS wash my hands thoroughly after being FORCED to use them.

I hereby declare than SpeedBall 2 is the greatest game EVER and that MAD is my favourite Amiga Org (a.k.a AOrg) member.

Welcome to the World of Amiga, to AOrg and enjoy your stay! ;-)

Be funky

M A D

May I say to you that Amiga has it's M$ ba$ic too?
Micro$oft just had put their bets on the whole computer market back then.
Ah well, my love for the Amiga is based on: coooool games and preemptive (real, cooperative is fake) multitasking and smooth easy-to-use gui.

Yes, but you don't need to use Amiga BASIC. If you wanna load a game on the C64 you need to use M$ BASIC :-( Appart from that, C64 is also VERY cool :-D

Hoya!

@Speel

Well, ok if you consider the CDTV a console...

As for the 3D bit, of course you are right!

Stunt Car Racer anyone? ;-)
