What views? That they value their right to own a gun? Obviously, if they have the right, they feel the same way, or are you saying other countries with similar gun laws arn't as democratic as the US, and their government forces this right on them against their will?

You're afraid, and you tolerate a level of bloodshed and fear that no other country would tolerate because you've never lived without guns and don't know how to.
