CompactFlash Adaptor and SD adaptor for Micro SD card
« on: April 19, 2018, 02:28:12 AM »
OK I have a compact flash reader on my 1200 and want to use an adapter so I can use a microsd card..

Anyone have any luck with this?  I can't get this to work and not sure if the issue is the CF adapter, or the final media itself that is failing. (I think it is my CF adapter as none of my sd cards are usable.)

Anyone using MicroSD cards and if so what brand, size, adapters etc?

Oh, wow... I do not have the full details but I have a generic PCMCIA card which accepts a bunch of different types of cards including SD and I have used microSD in an adapter in the adapter.  The largest I have used is 8GB.  I have also used 16GB M2 card (shout-out to the Sony hold-outs, yo.)

You mention an adapter.. Is this a CF adapter that accepts SD cards?  That is what I have and the Amiga does not like it at all..

Mine is a Delkin devices adapter and does not work..

Anyone have an SD to CF device that DOES work with Amigas?

Yes. I have one and it works inserted in CF/PCMCIA adapter.

Ah, then, sorry, I have nothing to contribute.  I have seen these before and have heard they work but never tried one, myself.

Hi, i have a unbranded SD to 44pin adapter, bought from China and i use a common MicroSD to SD adapter. The MicroSD card is a transcend 8GB HC 6 card that it used to be in my mobile phone.
This is not what you have but it may helps...
