Hi all,

Im using an A1200, Blizzard 060/PPC, Mediator, Voodoo3 and OS3.9 setup.

Ive just downloaded Warpup and Warp3d from Aminet, and when I try to run the demos supplied in the installation I get a message saying that PPC.LIBRARY is running.

When this is Terminated, I can run the Voxelspace demo from Warpup, but only in Window.
The P96 version shows nothing visable.

Onto the Warp3d demos, Warptest also fails with nothing visable.

Any ideas what Im doing wrong?

Hi

Thats easy one.
PowerUp kernel is hidden in flashRom and starts always, before anything else from disk.
If it runs it takes over PPC and WarpOs cannot start.

To do so you have to download from aminet BPPCFix (look for 1.4, as previous 1.2 had a bug).
This thing installs the handler to remove PowerUp AT THE NEXT STARTUP.
So you must run it in your startup-sequence, then reboot, then you can start without PowerUp and are free to start WarpOs.
