I can't log in to Amigaworld!

I don't seem able to log in to Amigaworld anymore and get the following message:

Access Denied! Your address is blacklisted. More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

The last thing I posted was about clarifying the specs of the Prisma music card and nothing offensive could be taken from this!

Is there an email address I could use for Amigaworld/the moderators to clarify the situation?

These sort of errors are usually related to an IP address rather than an email address. Are you using a shared IP? Is someone sending out a lot of spam? Are you using any kind of IP proxy?

Still not working. My ISP/BT line has been playing up a bit recently but no reason to blacklist me!

I got the same when I visit my parents of all things. Its a odd IP from a very small internett provider.

I can read AW.net from their IP, but cant post (so I guess its a blessing).

My IP address seems to be blacklisted on the following database lists:

dul.dnsbl.sorbs.net
dnsbl-2.uceprotect.net
dnsbl.sorbs.net
cbl.abuseat.org

The rest seem ok, but is that enough to stop my log in to Amigaworld? What do I do about it?

Sorbs is some crap. Most recently they blacklisted one of the IP's used by some of the Internet security software at my office. Had to jump through all kinds of hoops to get it working again.  :(

Seems to happen without fail when I use my Telstra account. Vodafone, TPG and Optus seem OK though.
If it really is a problem with all Telstra then Amigaworld has lost most of its Aus. users in one fell swoop (largest ISP in the country).

Near as I can tell this is where I write something under the guise of being innocuous, but really its a pot shot at another persons/peoples choice of Amiga based systems. Unfortunately only I cant see how transparent and petty it makes me look.

I messaged AmigaKit/Aeon a year or so ago as I believe they own aw.net now.  Said they would look into it but nothing ever seemed to happen.  Once in a while I can luck out and post there but most the time I can't, so I don't.

Its all the same here really so I just use amiga.org now for forum based posts.

I just see it as duplicate post there and being seen by the same people really.

Would be nice if they fixed/turned off that feature that blacklists but such is life.

So I am fine with it.
