Prices for SAM460cr Released

after the official announcement of the upcoming release of the SAM460cr, acube systems this morning updated the pricing on the initial boards:

  • SAM460cr 1.1GHz (includes AOS4.1 FE and RadeonHD driver): e539,00
  • SAM460cr 1.0GHz (includes AOS4.1 FE and RadeonHD driver): e469,00
  • SAM460ex 1.1GHz (includes AOS4.1 FE and RadeonHD driver): e599,00
  • SAM460ex 1.0GHz (includes AOS4.1 FE and RadeonHD driver): e549,00
so  the price delta between the two systems is between 60 and 80 euro  depending on which board you're interested in. immediate availability  appears to be held up on the availability of amigaos 4.1 final edition,  according to m3x at amigaworld.net (link).

I'm glad they lowered the price. I'd get one to have a dedicated OS4 Amiga.
It might be a toss up between on of those and an FPGA arcade.

At e539 thats $667.00 US I will buy one the first chance I can now that is much cheaper and I can use video cards that are MUCH faster that my Mac mini 1.5 with Morph :)   (I love that too however)

It's nice to see the prices coming down. Combined with the new pricing for OS4.1 FE the cost of entry has been significantly reduced.

Now that 'lite' version of RadeonHD driver is out, I guess this means OS4.1FE is out any day now?
