Default New Website Features

Many people have posted their opinions about the new look A.org.

What I would like is for people to point out any interesting new and useful features that they have noticed.

Remember I am only looking for gains not losses or bug reports on this thread.

I will start:

Thread, Forum, and Global Notifications. Looks set to become quite a popular feature.

Any more?

I like the fact you can now get email notifacation on forum items if someone posts something new in them this is handy if you have a software or hardware problems but are to busy to keep checking the forums. :-)

i do think the notification feature is a good thing!

but, exactly how does one use this:

"Bookmark this item (no notification)."

I mean, I like the idea. there are often useful or even just funny threads you want to access later. I clicked this on a couple of threads then realized I had no idea where one would go to see a list of ones favorite threads!

and these aren't threads i want to recieve emails about. I just want to find them later.

what have i missed?

nevermind: i just noticed my Notification link!!
(under my User menu)

D'OH!

i don't see the point of this thread since you can go to the xoops website and read about them, write what features you find the MOST useful, and then this will have a purpose... ;-)
