I am guessing some sort of driver software?

The Monitor will work on any Amiga but you really need to
be using AGA to get the most out of it.
You'll also find the following software invaluable in
getting the best from the monitor.  All of it can be
found on Aminet.

gfx/aga/1942PatchAGA.lha    Patch monitor drivers
gfx/aga/MonEd3a.lha        Edit monitor drivers
utils/boot/Monitor3.0Patch.lha    Patch monitor drivers

I think that's the model of monitor I have sitting in my 'parts' room.  Unfortunately it's pretty dead.  Paid a guy 35 bucks to tell me it's dead...

Which is sad, 'cause I really could use a RGB monitor for the native resolutions, they just don't look right on a 1920x1080 resolution LCD.

'course I could always try to drag out my 21" CRT and connect it to that with the Indivision AGA... it does look pretty sweet on that.

Exactly what it says on the disk.

Microvitec made a series of Monitors which were very popular with Amiga 4000 (and 1200 owners). I have a couple in my collection, A GPM1707 (17") and a 14V2C (1438) plus an Amiga Monitor which was actually a Microvitec 1438 re-badged for Amiga Technologies.  I don't have the utility disk though ;-(

I was gonna say that but you wouldn't have much of a collection on 880k.

I was gonna say that, but you wouldn't have much of a collection on 880k. Unless it's one disk from his 500,000; Like your collection Slaapliedje...  :)

Maybe a start here:

http://www.commodore-amiga-retro.com/amiga/amiga_scuzz56.htm

PZ.

Thanks for your replies everyone. Well scuzz used to hang around Amiga.org...until now? It'd be nice to know exactly what was on the disk, and for the disk to be imaged and preserved on TOSEC or something.
I have a 1438 myself which I'm still using as my main Amiga display. I still can't find that pesky horizontal size control... they hid it well!
