You obviously like your kindle a lot.

That has other (slang vulg,) connotations over here(Oz).

If I had bought FIRE instead of Nexus 7, rooting would have been first thing had to do :) Nexus and other droid devices have best of both worlds in that we get Play store and Amazon app marketplace

Well I did get it cheap. A buddy of mine bought it for his girlfriend, they split up & she gave it back. As he has a Samsung gigantaphone he had no need of it..... mmm......half price. :D

My Dads side of my family spent 15 years living in New Zealand. My uncle served in both the New Zealand Air Force and the Australian army (a rare thing indeed). My Dad still calls Oz "The big prison off the coast".

....and yes, I play with my kindle everyday. :D

I'm still no closer to figuring out what the back row is giggling about (unless you are referring to a piece of male specific anatomy).

Back on topic: I kinda hoped for a bit more "1 click and go". Us lot obviously wont mind the tinkering, but then why would we need the app? Most of us already have a real Amiga or AF.

From the description it looks like this just gives you the roms and a few adfs. I'd hoped they would target the casual nostalgic gamer a bit better by bundling an emulator or two with it, including a game menu that downloads new games as required. If it already is that slick it really should be clearer.

At least it is dirt cheap!
