Default Minimig Core in C64 DTV

Is it is possible to load the minimig core in the C64 DTV? If yes, has anyone tried? Just curious

The joystick? No, that doesn't use an FPGA IIRC, it's an ASIC implementing a variant of the C64 core developed by Jeri for the C-One.

Yeah it's a SoC so there is no way of altering it for use in this way. Even if you could flash the eeprom the SoC only runs at 32mhz so I doubt it would be up to the job of handling everything.

That's not to say these are useless. With some soldering skills you can put an sd card in it and run c64 games off it.

Yeah, it's an ASIC. It's impossible to reconfigure it. They wouldn't have been able to do an fpga design that cheap.

I always that it was 32mhz. I stand corrected on that

But the dtv is, as we pointed out, very flexible. Didn't the guy who made the c64 laptop embed one into the case to act as a floppy drive?
