The ACA-620 provides 9+1 MBytes of RAM (1 MByte reserved for MapROM function). Features:

Meh, I find these slow EC020 cards rather disappointing.

I thought they were quite fast. Are they more slow than what is in a stock Amiga 1200?

No, there's fast ram present, so it probably faster than stock A1200, but adding fast ram to a stock A1200 is also very cheap. I'd love to replace my aging 030+882@33MHz/32MB Apollo A630, but none of the ACA cards can do that.

Yep, definitely a huge downgrade compared to the previous ACA630. Glad I got one before they sold out.
This seems like a nice little upgrade I guess. Better than nothing.

It seems ACAtune allows enabling up to 12.3MB of ram, 1MB for kickstart and the rest could be used by special software (my proposals: p96 driver with indivisionECS??? disk buffers???):
http://www.a1k.org/forum/showpost.ph...&postcount=456 It looks more or less easy to overclock to 25Mhz but it would require additional cooling. It's a pity it's not the 680ec020 25Mhz model but it's ok.
