I wish more news from a2k.org would be translated and posted here and elsewhere so English speaking users could know what goes on there.

I would love to hear more news about the GBA1000 68060 board and other GBA add-on boards. Specially the Picasso II card.

I am sure there is lots of other info posted there that doesn't make it to the English forum sites.

I know this, regarding news & projects in other forums there is a communication problem between the forums and the newspages.

In the past these news were spread by several people visiting the english & german Amiga forums, but now a days noone is doing this job anymore. This is sad.

The 2005 production run from the Phoenix with 50 devices is sold out since
beginning of 2006. :-)

Andrew is still able to make some more, but it was a price issue, up to 2 weeks to get one board running...

To understand what it says you should buy an audio CD course in German by Michel Thomas. This works like magic! After listening to it twice and doing the oral exercises, you'll be speaking German. You can follow this up by watching streaming video of the soap/drama Lindenstrasse on www.lindenstrasse.de , as well as more streaming video on www.ard.de then click on Mediathek, and www.zdf.de then click on Mediathek. You could also try DVDs with multiple language soundtracks, including German.

Here's some vocabulary to help get you started -

Festplatine - hard drive

Bildschirm - monitor

Betriebssystem - Operating System

Tastatur - keyboard

Laufwerk - drive (of varios types apart from hard drive)

I'm not sure an audio course and watching German TV will help me read.
