The funny thing is, I probably would have bought every PC Wipeout sequel since the one I bought in 1997 (Wipeout 2097 - which annoyingly was poorly designed so that if you ran it on much faster hardware than a Pentium 200MHz, the zillion frames per second would translate through to zillions more MPH
), as I'm sure would a lot of other Wipeout fans. Instead I have Wipeout 64 for my N64 which isn't half bad.
Same goes for the Street Fighter 2 series. Companies that think that they're adding value to their own platform are deluded enough to think that people like me will buy a console for like 2 computer games when I've already spent a fair bit in turning my PC into a gaming rig.
