Default FS: Amiga 4000D

Hi guys,

I have a couple of Amiga 4000's for sale. This is the first one. They are identical specs-wise, except this one has the original top case and the other one has a new aluminum replacement cover.

It is complete, the battery was removed long ago, so no corrosion as you can see in the pictures. It still works flawlessly, except it seems you have to wiggle the audio connectors to get both channels.

A4000/040-25, 16M Fast, 2M Chip
6.4G Hard Disk
52x CDRW drive, works with IDEFix97
NO keyboard/mouse, as I don't have extras. Sorry.
$325 OBO + Actual Shipping

I have several Video Toaster and Flyer cards if you want them, too. $50/each

I have a Toaster and Flyer card already but lack the necessary cabling to connect them. I'd consider buying another card or two if that would get me the cable(s). You got? I'm "next door" over in Alabama. Heh.

Do you mean the replacement BNC connector strip for the VT4000 that has the ribbon that goes to the flyer? I only have one of those, so that VT and Flyer would have to be sold as a set.

I have contacted Newtek to see if they have any of those, and they did not. You would have to pin-out and make one...

I will go through and test what I have left to make sure they work. I found one Toaster "2000" board as well that I believe only works in the 2000 or 3000.

@ r.cade

Not trying to rush you...... but did you happen to get a shipping quote yet for the Flyer Card. You asked me for my Zip Code but that was a couple of days ago.

Just trying to keep my place in line.

Honestly I am wary of selling them without testing to know if they work. Even though I am selling them cheap, nobody wants possibly broken stuff. I need to find some rig of SCSI drives that will be recognized.

I'm not sure what you mean by BNC connector strip, but what I need is the ribbon cable that connects the Flyer and Toaster cards to each other. I believe it is for 20 pins on one end and 16 on the other. I may make one, but I'd consider buying a Toaster-Flyer card set if they included the cable, and then I would have a spare set of cards. I'm in this for the long haul. Heh.

But it sounds like I'm not at the head of this line, so just let me know what you have available if you have something for me. Thanks!

Yes, the ribbon cable.

The way Newtek handled this is when you bought a flyer, it included a replacement part for the Toaster to swap out that replaced the BNC connector bus on the card. This had an integrated ribbon cable that linked them. It was never a separate cable-only thing.

I only have one Toaster with this connector/ribbon on it. The other two Toaster 4000's don't have it.

I believe one Toaster is not working- it gets "Toaster not Responding" error when you try. I seem to recall this can be from it being out of adjustment/sync also, though, so I just need to test all this stuff and relist in a different thread. I will honor the order of requests, though.
