Angry This Ebay listing angers me

It seems that this happens all too often on Ebay. See this listing http://www.ebay.com/itm/Commodore-Am...item27c8e120f6 . These people try to sell a system, then don't even give you the keyboard/mouse, but sell it separately. You see it all the time on there, people selling hardware, then list the manual, or the power supply or keyboard/mouse separate. I refuse to buy anything off of someone that does this. It really bothers me.

Call me a libretarian but I dont think anyone should tell anyone what to do with or how to sell their stuff! I dont know why you would boycott it if there is something you wanted to buy?

Unhappy Re: This Ebay listing angers me

Or... If it angers you so deeply. Win the auction, get his address and murder him and or toilet paper his house.

Another thing you could do is light a bag of steaming hot dog excrement on fire upon their door step, knock on the door and run to hide in a near by bush or what ever (you'll have to plan a tactical field position in advance), and watch them stomp the poo!
Of course, you can use your own excrement if you do not have acess to a dog, but some people consider this a bit uncouth. There are laws of ediquette about this after all.

He can do what he wants with his own property and you can do likewise. To get upset over something so minor is silly.

To paraphrase a Simpsons episode (Trash of the Titans), 'if that upsets you, don’t look behind you!' There’s plenty more to be upset about in the world than a keyboard and mouse.

Have a pleasant Sunday

Angry Re: This Ebay listing angers me

@Delusion you stole my idea! But i still think a way to deal with this is shoot him in the spine and put him in a wheelchair

At least that's what i feel like doing to the ebay store that ripped me off with my new laptop. 2 weeks over due and i still haven't got it yet. Angry pants are on

eBay quote:

"Keyboard/mouse are not included. I will list those separately once I test out some other Amigas."

So he doesn't sell it seperately because he's greedy or something, he just needs the keyboard/mouse to test other Amiga's. He's gonna sell it once he's finished with that. Sounds fair enough to me.

Oh my god, tell me about it! My local supermarket sells Cornflakes...but...get this - you have to buy the milk...the bowl...AND the spoon seperately! This gets me so angrrrrrrrrry!

Never mind the fact that someone may only want the cornflakes to make cornflake cookies out of, and may not actually want to eat them for breakfast! They should be sold with everything *I* need to make breakfast! How dare they cater for someone else and get me so angrrrrrrrrrrry!

You don't want that A2000. It has a lot of battery leakage and will probably end up having lots of problems.

Really sucks as all A2000's will have this fate if the damn battery is not removed in time!

I recently scored a mint in box A2000 local on Craigslist that was for free but was dead due to the battery leaking and ruining lots of traces around the CPU. What a shame.

Selling the keyboard apart does make sens for people who don't want a QWERTY US keyboard. Although i can use a foreign keyboard, i prefer to have an AZERTY french keyboard on my computers to have access to "é, è, ç, à, ù, ^" and to type faster.
So, in case i would like to buy an A2000 from the USA, i don't need the KB to increase the shipping cost.

Yeah as a buyer you want them together but as a seller you want them to get the best return. As long as he combines postage I don't see an issue.

it is a bit sad, I like having Amiga with its 'own, unique' keyboard, etc. even though there isn't probably any difference apart from serial numbers.
as a collectors item, which most of them are now, its better not to split them.

If you bid successfully on them all and he combines postage what's the difference?
The difference is you pay more...:0

Yeah, I had too many A2000s and not enough keyboards and mice, so instead of trying to sell the spares I started using the A2000 cases as snow shovels. Problem solved!

I could not agree more with you. I could care less about Amiga hardware but I am constantly amazed by the true collectors and their posts:

"Person A is selling Item B on eBay and Person C out bid me and now Person C is selling the same item for more than Person A did! Is there no justice in the world!?! We need to report Person C to eBay! They should be banned!"

"Person A isn't selling the entire computer in their eBay listing! They have the gull to part with their property as they see fit! Where is the justice here!?!"

The arrogance and entitlement seems to run pretty deep here. Should not the owner decide how they sell their property? Is this not the nature of collecting?
