Hmm, I live in NZ. But what RAM do you need, might be able to source some for free depending on what you need.

Turns out a friend of mine will let me cannibalize his old PC so i should be okay. Thanks though! Everyone is so cool.

Ill just enjoy the amiga this week as a "vacation"

I must say the urge to get an old mac and MOS showed itself last night though

Ever been in a similar situation?

Yes,every day to be exact. The store email is handled through yam on my A4000 csppc mediator setup and i use it for picture editing etc. the deneb USB works well.workbench at 1920x1280x32 is nice.

Nice, so your 4000 is your main computer then?

I imagine that is a lot easier with graphics card and a PPC accelerator though

I think an Amiga for webbrowsing is even safer than anything else. No worries about virus/malware etc..

Not sure if a Amiga 'only' computing is bad, its different. The time i had an Amiga there was not much of web as it is today. More Fido and some web.

I wouldn't want to do amiga only for 2 long but its a nice break.

If you really want to have some fine, try making your only connection to the internet through telnet for a time.

There is a surprising # of telnet systems still out there.
