Hey Everyone,
Just thought some of you might want to know about this Kickstarter project to help fund a new version of M.U.L.E for Android/iOS/PC/Mac (sorry no AmigaOS or MorphOS version right now )

I know technically M.U.L.E was a C64 game and not really Amiga related but hey there were plans for Deluxe M.U.L.E for the Amiga way back when so there is (sort of) a connection

The problem is that a remake would be done by a company like Gameloft or Zynga, and we'd end up with a Facebook game riddled with microtransactions.

Not sure what you mean by this statement; the whole point of the kickstarter project is to provide the officially licensed company (which isn't zynga) with the funds to create a tribute version of M.U.L.E (called Alpha Colony) for PC/Mac/Linux/Android/iOS. This version builds on the concept of M.U.L.E extending it with new features.

At the same time this company has made arrangements to provide a copy of Return of M.U.L.E (trailer here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkzDJ...hannel&list=UL) to anyone who donates to the Alpha Colony Project. So you end up with a two for one deal.
