cd32+sx1+fmv+external harddrive
over last year or so i have managed to build up a cd32 with a fmv card an a sx1 card the internal harddrive connector doesnt seem to work ..could be a power issue ..i dunno ..but id like to add a external harddrive
by pluggin in a appropriate cord from sx1 to external box powered for a harddrive ..any one done this ..? also does the disable switch disable an external harddrive if switched on? ..which way is on an off ? |

problem solved ..external harddrive i couldnt get to work ..floppy drive wouldnt let me install workbench to internal drive ...i thought it was a power issue ..it wasnt ..my external floppy drive from when i bought my original a500 was dying ..not bad for hardware i guess bought it when i got my 1.3 amiga in 1986 i think ..installed workbench 3.5 on a compact flash card on my 1200 plugged into the sx1 ..everything works no crashes ..still would like to get a external 3.5 drive one day but cant find anyone who has done this or any info online ..
