Why can't I find my listing on Ebay?
« on: April 07, 2012, 06:35:18 PM »
Advertised my AmigaONE XE on ebay but I can't find it using a search even if I copy/paste the title from the listing into the search bar.  Never had this happen before and can't make sense of it.

Here's the item number if you can't find it too.  251036243215

Not sure what's going on there.

If I enter the item number then I find it.  If I search for Amigaone (even with description included) all I get are a couple of Blizzard boards and a t-shirt.  I even tried to copy & paste your header into the search bar jsut in case you had a "0" (zero) instead of an "o", but it still wouldn't come up.

Very strange.  I'd contact eBay.

I click "See other Items" for you as a seller and I looks like you don't have any items for sale.

When it says:

"This is a private listing and your identity will not be disclosed to anyone except the seller."

Does this mean it is so "private" that it doesn't actually appear in searches and that people need to be invited via the item number to bid on it?

I don't have a problem.

Its right here.

Wait a minute...
Oh I see what you mean.

No search parameters bring this up.
Personally, I'd get pissed off about that.
No one's going to find it to bid.

Can be searched now from UK site not US or possibly other, because you only ship to UK.

Very common, you need to jump to the different sites to search. Even if you list it as world wide shipping.

I have a few of the ebay sites listed, i.e. ebay.com, ebay.co.nz, ebay.com.au, ebay.co.uk.... and go between them otherwise you don't see all listings.

I think you need to open the "International Shipping" section of the listing and revise it to show you offer it overseas.
