It's best to stop thinking of Google as "Google". They are DoubleClick now and have been since 2008. MS has done some pretty crappy things in the past, but Google has been on the fast track to catch up over the past few years.

Google is a horrid company.  Between them and facebook if you have a computer and use either or both you might as well live in a glass cube.

"Don't be evil," well, Google, I've got a better policy: don't use Google for anything important.

It is becoming more and more rare to find people/companies/politicians who rely on their strong points rather than their competitor's weaknesses (real or imagined).  In the end it makes me examine "slinger" much more than the target...

Nice to see a thread so many of us agree on. Microsoft and Google are both as dodgy as an invite to Bates Motel. It's maybe not a surprise to see big companies acting like our politicians do, they are of the same ilk after all.

Difference is Microsoft are proven incompetent anti competition scum charging ludicrous sums for the monopoly products.

You don't pay Google anything and have a choice in comparison ;)

For me the point of the video is about privacy.  For which there is very strong instances of national legislation globally.  I would guess what they are doing is illegal in many countries but by okaying an agrement you negate your rights?  Which is also illegal in most countries.
Get those marketeers on the Ark to Golgafrincham.  They know what to do with them there...

Who's going to take them to which court?
