Can't quite recall, but I think you need to find the Moonstone somewhere on Thera, then use both disks.

Looking at the pictures I say you are on Thera but looking in your inventory I say that you haven't been on Crete since you don't have important objects.
There are several dig sites in the game. The first one is in the desert. There is a truck which you have to make running. I guess you have been there since you have a hose. Did you make the truck running? If yes, then you are not playing Fists Path. If no, then you are playing Fists Path and it seems to be that you flew into the wrong direction and ended up on the wrong island. Another dig site is on Crete. It's huge, much bigger than the previous one. There are bull horns, the bridge. Were you here - http://www.mobygames.com/game/amiga/...eShotId,282641 (shot 23) or here - http://www.mobygames.com/game/amiga/...ShotId,282642/ (shot 24)? Hmmm I think you are at Thera too.
Have you tried lining the sundisk up correctly (so in your case sunset is at the top according to the book), pushing in the spindle, then removing the disk from the spindle before trying the door? I think it says nothing happened- but now if you try the door it opens Last edited by DonutKing; 12-04-2011 at 03:51 AM.. |

That is indeed Thera, I've not long finished playing through...
Here's what you do (based on your Dialogue of Plato): Put the sunstone on the spindle, put the setting sun at the top by the horns, push the spindle, open the door WITHOUT removing the sunstone, pick up the statue, close the door and then pick up the sunstone. |

I was basing the location off this picture: http://www.amiga.org/forums/attachme...4&d=1322952748
Although, it may not be a statue.. but there's something in there that can be picked up anyway Last edited by BinoX; 12-04-2011 at 08:38 AM.. |

Something like this, at 9:30, but the "Klick" don't happen.
I think tonight I shall try to transfer my save file to Windows and try it on the official version. Perhaps this might be a bug with the MorphOS port? I know the AROS version is a wreck, so maybe this still has a bug or two left as well? I really don't see what I'm missing here!

Each round of the game the alignment is different so no one can tell you how to align the stones. You have to try with help of Plato's Dialogues (indeed they give all the necessary clues). Anyhow, there is not so many combination so you can try all of them. Important is that the alignment of the stones is the same throughout the whole game. Meaning that if Sunstone only was aligned in one position, this position has to be aligned during the whole game in a very much the same way. And there are no half positions. Remember also to use the spindle after the alignment.
It would helpful if you could show us screens of you Plato's Dialogue (and stones during the alignment). I think we could figure out the alignment. |

see what happens between 8.00 and 8.20 . Maybe that should happen (and the entrance to cave should collapse) before you can open the door?

In your case, Sunset alignment should be at the top. Moonstone should be aligned so the new moon is also on the top. Unless I'm wrong. But I think Fallenone has the point.

The cave did collapse.
Also in this demonstration the players relies only on the sun disc, but I'll watch the video again, maybe he used a moon stone and I somehow missed it? All I know is that I do not possess a moon stone, I'm stuck on this island, and I can not backtrack.

Aghh well what do you know....
O.K. JUST before he enters the cave (where I am) the player closed the lid on the box sitting outside. Stuck to the lid was the letter needed to get the balloon! Also, before when I watched this video, I would turn it off as soon as he adjusted the sun disk and you hear the "KLIK" sound, as I did not want to see any spoilers. Well as it turns out, in this guy's experience, it reveals a sign written in some ancient dialog... ...but when I played, that sign was there from the get go. How strange. Anyhow, all I needed was to get the balloon, put it together, fill it with air, and I'm off the island. Apparently this game does not play the same way, regardless of what path you pick because the guy in this video and I have both apparently chosen the same path, but the results were slightly different. I was wrong on one thing though, like the guy in this video, I found my sun disk in a street drain, not at the Nazi Dig site. At the Nazi dig site I found that statue that allowed me to start up the truck. Anyhow, I'm back into the game again, and for those who have not played it, or have only played the old Amiga non-talkie version, I HIGHLY suggest you bust out ScummVM on MorphOS, or OS 4 or AROS if it is polished enough, and play this sucker!!!! It totally compensates for the lack luster movie that we were recently treated with.
