Default Compserv Scandoubler slightly distorted when cold

when it is cold for about 30 seconds the image is slightly distorted after a short time is already good, I have a question faulty scan doubler? or not?

30 seconds after, the picture is excellent and you can use all day without any problems

I have the same problem with my CybervisionPPC- gfx card, I'm suspecting bad capacitors.

Is it the Comp Serv II card you have? I have one of those, and its not working properly in my A4000T, though its working perfectly in an A4000D.

Problems like this are usually caused by a bad connection somewhere. When things heat up they expand making the connection better.

You can try to find and fix the connection, but I don't know if I'd bother unless it gets worse. 30 seconds isn't that long to wait.

Connector is not a problem, but for me it's not a problem a while wait few seconds for the image stabilization, I ask for curiosity, I read the instructions from external Elbox Scandoubler and the manufacturer recommends you wait for 5 minutes to complete correctness of these types of device that can have hehe

Yes, the external scandoublers definetly needs a bit of warming up before they produce a stable image. For the Comp Serv though, I'd just leave it the way it is too.

I'd say cheap components and simple circuits are prone to changing values and so the trim crawls - just like my external EZ-VGA sd/FliFi.
