Default Prometheus Voodoo3 not showing all modes

I've got a Prometheus PCI with a Voodoo 3.

I can define and test 1920x1080 in Picasso Mode.
The mode is saved and enabled for 8, 16 and 24bit.
After rebooting, this mode isn't listed in OS3.9 Screenmode prefs.

Other modes do show up in Screenmode, such as 1680x1050 and the usual lower resolutions like 800x600, etc.

I've made many of the modes inactive in Picasso mode, thinking that maybe I had exceeded some limit, but that didn't help.

Suggestions?
