This aint a personal attack on no-one so don't try and claim it is...
![]() It's merely some observations regarding the very skewed interpretation of the "Guidlines" round here... ![]() These posts have been moved from a thread under the banner "Amiga.org Discussion and Site Feedback" which also says "This forum is to allow us to discuss topics specific to how Amiga.org is run, and the direction we should take." ... correct... Yes... ![]() Now pardon moi but... how can you discuss or give feedback when moderators who are interpreting the guidelines in such a skewed way (for what agenda I have no idea) move all feedback out of the thread and then close the ruddy thing... very bizarre, very bizarre indeedy... ![]() I know the guidelines are pretty bizarre and out of date and not really much to do with a computer forum, so here a suggestion for some better ones, why not delete all the current guidelines and replace them with the Ten Commandments instead... ![]() After all even though I'm not religious the Ten Commandments make more sense to me than the current Neo-Nazi themed guidlines... ![]() Just some observations and hopefully helpful "Site Feedback" that's all...

The PM previous to that answered your question. You just didn't like the answer.

@thread
No idea where to bring this up, but site guidelines linked to here so: In response to what was on the front page: Karlos quote: Quote:
Then I saw the creation of a separate forum, which I have since used: CommodoreUSA Amiga Discussions of all things dealing with CommodoreUSA's Amigas Now I see both "circumvented" back to the front page under the guise of "Amiga News and Community Announcements" So, now that it seems to have gone full circle from front page > sock drawer > dedicated forums > front page... Where should one post about this topic really? #6 |
