Surely as they have partnered with Disney on the tron thingy then they have permission.

Glad to see though that Franko (Read your email in a quote) is happy to ge mental about Amiga Inc and thinks its fine to pirate their IP but as then tries to get CUSA in the poo becasue he is on some crazy man one vendetta against them.

Dont bother replying To me franko your still on my ignore list.

Acer AM3910-U4012 Desktop PC - Intel Core i3-550 3.2GHz, 6GB DDR3, 1TB HDD, DVDRW, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Mind you, we won't get Windows 7 but free Linux and a pirate copy of Amiga Forever along with VICE.

Just buy the bare bones, and install your own board. Then you can have a core i3, i5, or i7. Thats what I will do, as I like the case.

Franko, if you do not want one I say do it yourself. I have plenty of c64 cases and I have tried to mount other things inside. The old cases are mostly faded, brittle. Although I have seen some useful and creative mods using old cases, it still will look crappy compared to a new case designed to mount Mini itx board. The keyboard is nice also. Mine will have a core i5 and windows 7. Doesn't that really make you want to cry.

Interesting. So Franko, at what point do you decide to defend some company's IP rather than distribute it?

Got plenty of REAL C64's myself but none of them are faded or brittle...

Yup... putting any crap inside one that runs windows would make any true C64 fan cry and should be punishable by a long slow drawn out death...

I might get one anyway and resell the optiplex!

A bargain price for a computer you probably shouldn't use for extended periods due to horrible ergonomics!

For that price, they should include a matching 3" high wrist rest.

Yes. It's a netbook without the battery or the cumbersome screen.

Just what the computer world has been waiting for.
