I know I'm not the target for this, but I preferred the "A600" style case... That did exist? Right? My memory isn't what it used to be In fact, an "A600" case with the guts of a MacMini would be pretty fun
First post has images of the top and bottom of the first (first of three sets) C64x mold that are being made. Barry has posted pictures of injection machine later in the thread. Amazing what has to be done to produce plastic cases.http://www.commodore-amiga.org/en/forum/27-commodore-usa/2154-images-of-the-c64xs-mold
Forgot to add, there will be a C64Cx also... sometimes later this year or early next year, for those interested and more sympathetic to the C64C looks and functionality.
I'm sure we'll hit 1000 day minimum.....sales are far in excess of the limitations that one mold presents.
Wow, so sales are far in excess of 1000 per day? That really surprises me. I wouldn't have thought that something as niche as a Linux PC in a C64 case would have generated such sales.
You know they can just sell the case and keyboard and I think folks would buy it as a gag computer case and install the Atom CPU motherboard itx systems to make this a cool retro computer.
