Default Decent console-based tracker

Does such a thing exist?

I've been thinking about getting back to creating mods, as I spend two hours a day on a train and need something to do. However, i try to run as much as possible in the terminal (faulty touchpad).

In a similar response to the above: http://nitrotracker.tobw.net/

However, I'm not aware of any console (I assume Linux console?) based trackers. However, I suspect most gui trackers would have sifficient keyboard shortcuts (probably replicating pro-tracker) to make mouse control optional at best. I'd also be tempted to run pro-tracker under WinUAE (under wine) or E-UAE or similar under native Linux...

Yeah - NitroTracker for the DS - not answering the original posters question but NitroTracker has worked for me on boring commutes in the past so thought it worth mentioning

There is also a tracker (or trackers) available for the original black & white Gameboy (the latter of which you can pick up at a Thrift Store for $5).

GoatTracker is a SID tracker for terminals. Available for Linux, Windows and of course the C64.

I meant the linux console, but I'll give the GameBoy tracker a try, as I got a GBA lying around here somewhere.

Thanks to kids today, we'll have to stick to "terminal" when we mean a shell console.

Guilty! Although, Slipstream died in the 1990's - I'm kinda retro like that

I'll have to check out GoatTracker myself!
