Amiga 25th Anniversary animated tribute
« on: November 23, 2010, 01:17:09 AM »
... can be found here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNR5vxAR22A

Tried posting about it earlier, but must have posted in the wrong place.

All graphics generated by Amiga and Pegasos/MorphOS systems (there's a Mac in there somewhere too, just for the final edit and video handling). It's an  anniversary tribute to twenty-five years of Amiga and the visual works created with its aid, featuring several clips from classic animations, games, and demos. Hope you guys like it -I had a ton of fun working on it.

hopefully a bit more entertaining than another variant of Doomy singing, anyway.

Dear Eric:

As always, your animation is amazing.
I have good news, I started using moviesetter on my amiga
and teaching myself 2d animation.
I want to follow in your footsteps, and create new amiga
animation.
Any tips ?

Love !!!

Best of luck to you in your efforts. Best advice I can think of is don't be afraid to 'play around' with the software, whether you're working toward a finished product or not. That's the way you can figure out the best ways to use it, come up with different techniques, or just find out what methods work best for you.

The only thing I didn't like was the LED on the monitor.  It looks wonky from the side.
That's just nitpicking though.
Great job!
