Alien Breed classic lives via SLD. :)
« on: November 04, 2010, 05:22:49 AM »
Has this been mentioned in here before?

Alien Breed has been resurrected in a free re-incarnation! No Amiga, Morph, or AROS port yet, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

Wow... I must have a real good imagination, cos I've been playing Alien Breed on my miggie for year's now without even realizing it hadn't been ported to the Amiga yet... :roflmao:

Ok, since it is on OS4, where does one get it, and does it also work on MorphOS? You know, PPC Amiga for poor people. :)

While I usually get a kick out of seeing amiga game remakes ported back to the NG Amiga systems, this one was pretty disappointing. It's more akin to the weak pc version released back when the game was new, only worse.
Oh, and incidently, its SDL, not SLD   :)
Near as I can tell this is where I write something under the guise of being innocuous, but really its a pot shot at another persons/peoples choice of Amiga based systems. Unfortunately only I cant see how transparent and petty it makes me look.

Ya I meant LSD! :)

Did the original Alien Breed support a Strafe/Run button?
