I've read a few threads on here with people having problems with accelerators connected to the edge connector on the A1200 PCB. The connections seem to degrade with time.
I have been plagued with this problem for years, and have tried every way I can think of to improve the connection to no avail. Has anybody got a definitive solution to this problem? These days a vanilla 1200 isn't much use at all (apart from old games in fairness). Thanks folks!

Tension,
I don't know what to say. Have you tried a professional contact cleaner (e.g. Tun-O-Wash) on the contacts? Besides that, I know from personal experience that the connectors on certain accelerators are problematic (at best) My dad had an Apollo '030 in his 1200... eventually the connection stopped working alltogether. Yet I've never had trouble with my P5 1260 (tho, in truth, it's in my 1200 tower) Hope this helps....
