Default Syncmaster 214t

It has RCA Composite Video in but I don't get it work with my amiga.

I ques that it just doesn't work with amiga, but I would like if there is something to do to get it work?

It allso have s-video in but I don't have proper adapter.

I have a 19" Syncmaster. If yours is anything like it, it can't handle 50Hz PAL modes. Check the vertical refresh specs to confirm.

(I'm assuming you're trying to use a PAL screenmode)

seems to start @ 56 Hz.

And I assume it does not accept 15KHz vertical on the RGB input, just like all other LCD monitors on this side of the pond

Yes, 30 to 81 kHz.

What is the point of composite input??? Manual says that I can connect it to DVD player etc

Maybe it has to be an NTSC DVD player.

Finding a suitable LCD for Amigas is very difficult.
