Hello friends,
i have a bit much around my head (private, job, Broadway, AresOne). I was on the hunt for TV- livestreams to include a small collection in AMC. The list can be updated by the user too. Now the problem is that i found not a "list" but instead you have to look manually for those streams. Takes time which i just not have in the moment. I would like to start a contest: First prize: AudioEvolution4(AROS),AMC(AROS or AOS or MOS ),A-live X (physical) Second prize: AMC(AROS or AOS or MOS),A-liveX(Physical) Third prize: AMC(AROS or AOS or MOS) 4th: A-live X download only(unlimited updates) The winner is the one who gives us the most (in numbers) "working" stream- urls. The url must work with our(AROS) mplayer. - Channel Name - Resolution - Bandwidth Kbps (approximate) - Language - Country - Genre The deadline is September the 15th 2010. Special day for me ; ) http://amcdev.wordpress.com/ |

Here's a few to start with (although I have no way to know if they will work through AMC):
http://www.justin.tv/directory/featured http://www.viewmy.tv/ http://www.channelchooser.com/ http://www.ustream.tv/ http://www.myeasytv.com/ http://www.webcastr.com/ http://www.craftytv.com/index.php http://www.live-online-tv.com/ http://www.channelzapper.com/ http://watch.squidtv.net/ http://www.startyourstation.com/ http://tvweb360.com/ http://www.chooseandwatch.com/ http://www.hsn.com/cnt/live_tv/default.aspx?network=1 http://www.1stcallonline.tv/ http://www.streamick.com/ http://123webtv.com/ Quote:
Do you need these criteria supplying aswell (channel, resolution, bandwidt, etc), or just the URLs? Regards Rich

Thanks,
a good start. But we need the url of the stream itself. Mostly they start with mms:// AMC uses Mplayer. Every stream which works with mplayer will work for AMC too. A possible how to get those streams: On Windows: 1. I've installed a plugin for Firefox named "TV-Fox", this plug in has thousand of free tv channels categorized by country, language and genre all accessible from a button on firefox 2. I've installed a program called "URL Snooper 2", this software helps discovering embedded flash streams or any streaming media in your pc Before lanching a WebTV I launch URL Snooper then I check the possible streams discovered and try to reproduce them on AROS mplayer under VirtualBox, if the test is positive I store the channel in the AMC channel list But if you are able to find any streaming links in other ways you are welcome! Looking around and googling I was not so lucky so I've started discovering channel with this method. Generally streaming links starts with mms:// and sometimes there are asx playlists that starts with http:// and ends with .asx |
