Default Grounding in Apple's screwed SCSI connector (DB25)

Ok, now that I know (Finally ! Thnx to Patrik)) the stupid pinout of the Blizzard Scsi-iv kit connector I was wondering if it's worth it to have the thing converted to a moreSscsi standard conformant cabling, cause Apple screwed it with those DB25 connectors (they took of grounding wires).
A DB25 to IDC 50 scsi converter comes to mind, or to any other Scsi standard conformant cabe.

But:
Since the connector on the SCSI kit is only 26pin, and at the end is a 25pin DB 25 connection will the grounding wires after a DB25 to any scsi conformant cable adapter do any good?

Yes they will do very good indeed after the conversion. To do the conversion, just connect the ground-cables of the 25pin DSUB together to form some sort of groundplane and connect all the ground-cables of for example the 50pin IDC to that.

Stupid question, as there had to be some grounding in the DB25 connection anyway....
Ok, I owe you one more... :-D

Check out these two pinouts:

SCSI External D-Sub
SCSI Internal IDC
