You can also boot AROS from a floppy into a fully functioning Workbench on a standard PC... That's much more impressive IMHO.

Ahhh but does that have networking,web browser and other things on it too or just Workbench.

Personally I think Windows XP is bloatware (although good for M$) and there is no need for an OS to take up gigabytes...M$ and Apple take note

In the end it doesn't matter, nobody outside the retro world even knows what a floppy is anymore. They were a bad design, incredibly small storage, mechanical and prone to failure, I don't miss them in the least.

Nowadays you can boot up a fully functional OS (Linux, OS X, Windows 7) off of a pocket flash drive....
