Default Delfina Flipper connection

Hi

I was nearly there with completing my A1200 in desktop but connected Delfina Flipper wrong way around. I turned on Amiga and could see smoke so I turned the god damn thing straight away (my heart was in my mouth, seriously...).

Cable from clockport to delfina got a little burned.

So there is my question - is there any chance that Delfina is still ok? And the other question is - can anyone show me exactly how the proper connection looks like?

Regards

Hi, I am sorry to dissapoint you, but the delfina is the most unreliable piece of Amiga hardware I have ever seen. Dont believe my word, just use the search function on this forum, or any other Amiga forum for that matter, and you will see how troublesome this device is.
You should visit Individual Computers website to obtain further specific information and/or manuals about this product. If it is not on their website, just email them.

Good luck!

I've seen the posts and I'm quite aware that this piece of HW is not an easy one.. Anyway I still want to try to check if it's still ok, but I need a proper schematic how to connect delfina to the clockport (which pins go where). I've sent an email to IC already.

AFAIK Delfina's connection to the clockport is exactly the oposite as it's on the Subway (this is also shown on A603 memory upgrade of A600).
You can check in Individual Computer's website an archive which contains all the pics of how the Delfina is connected to a lot of cards (not on 1200 clockport header though).

Since you connected it the wrong way (I really hope you didn't fry Delfina)... the correct one is certainly the other way around. (This ofc if you remember how you connected it in the first place)

I don't remeber now, that's the main thing..

Anyway it's all your fault Mfilos because when I saw your A1200 modding I got the message - damn, I can do it too
