Hi guys. I am looking to sell my brand new and unused mac mini g4. I purchased this as new old stock a while ago and its been sitting in my room ever since. The box has been opened to verify the contents but the machine has never even been powered on. Specs are as follows: 1.42ghz G4, 256mb RAM, 80GB hard drive and combo CD burner/DVD-ROM. I had intended to make this my MorphOS machine but need the cash for a laptop.
This is a unique opportunity to grab some brand new MorphOS-capable hardware. ![]() Comes with Mac OS X 10.4 installed (cd media also included). I'm located in Perth, Western Australia but i'm willing to post internationally at the buyers expense. If anyone is interested and local they are more than welcome to come and inspect the unit. The following links contain photos of the mac mini. http://img685.imageshack.us/i/macmini2.jpg/ http://img191.imageshack.us/i/macmini1.jpg/ http://img63.imageshack.us/i/macmini3.jpg/ Thanks for looking! |

Seeing how he has opened it and it is new old stock, why doesn't he power it on to check if it runs?
If something hasn't been used in over a month it's probably a good idea to see if it works or not.

Hi again.
I myself purchased the mac from a seller on ebay a while ago so I believe I had good reason to check that there was actually a computer in there and not a pair of bricks The actual computer itself is sealed in its tight plastic (as packaged by Apple).Regards. edit:spelling Last edited by sixtyace; 02-24-2010 at 03:15 AM.. |

So the working condition is unknown and that is the buyers risk?

I am sure a hard-core collector who might appreciate an untouched, untested computer would be glad it hasn't been taken out of the plastic and powered up yet.

Hi crawff. I have no problem plugging the system in and switching it on to verify that it works if someone is genuinely interested in buying it. I want to leave the machine totally untouched for the new owner. I have no intention of selling broken hardware to anyone.
Regards. |
