For Sale:Apollo 4040
« on: February 07, 2010, 09:32:43 PM »
I've got an Apollo 4040 board for sale.  It's for an A4000 or A3000 computer.  Not sure if you'll have to cut the 3000D to fit it or not. Clips on the fan are messed up but the board works.  No ram included with it.  I'm asking $150 shipped in the US.  Guaranteed not to be DOA.

email is void@comsouth.net

feel free to make offers but if they are silly I'll feel free to reject them.

have a nice day  :)

The chips on the card. Are they MACH130 or MACH131 chips?

Bummer, not upgradable to 4060 then :(

Still a good deal at $150. Much, MUCH better than the A3640.

Reported not to work in 16MHz A3000's or to fit/work in any A3000 without the adapter board. The board is reported to fit to the SCSI chip and one of the kickstart ROMs. Whether this is a functional or physical fit adapter I dunno as I've never seen one.
