I found a program to play ANIM files in Windows
« on: January 08, 2010, 02:30:21 AM »
Hi,

I've been searching for a long time to find a program that will play amiga ANIM files natively in Windows.  VirtualDUB can do it sometimes, but chokes on certain types of compression.

However, I found this little utility (run from a Windows command line) that has been able to play any amiga ANIM I've thrown at it:

Look for "IFFANIMPLAY".
Music I've made using Amigas and other retro-instruments: http://theovoids.bandcamp.com
