Yaqube seems to have been able to overclock the 68sec000 to around 56 MHz with the aid of low latency ram. This is something that would be interesting as well since it apparently would make the minimig cpu perform about the same as a 030 at 25 MHz.

16 megabytes of physical onboard memory would probably be good too if it was possible. That way you could have 10 mb ram and 512kb rom and also have a bit of extra memory to spare for other possible future expansions.

Have read through all the replies and as I can see, there are too many feature requests that are either hard or impossible to implement in the current 1.1 design. That's why the FPGAarcade is needed - that thing will be able to basically do all these stuff. So, as it looks now, the MiniMig 2.5 will be put down in priority. Regarding a 8 MB board - I actually have a schematics for that partly done. But to complete the design, I need a co-op work with Yaqube and the result will not be compatible with the 1.1 design. Time will tell...

Looking forward to it Illuwatar! Still have my MiniMig 2.0 boards staring at me everyday. I will get on them here shortly, just a few other projects to finish first.
