Default Games on better machines than a 68000

Hi!

Some days ago I asked if F18 Interceptor would improve on a machine equipped with an 030 or so. Now I'd like to know which games really improve on better machines (smooth graphics and so) and particularly if anyone experienced improvements in Their finest hour, Wings and Red baron.

thanks!

Juanma

Lotus 2 and 3 improves on faster machines. Jaguar runs too fast on anything above a 68000.

I guess that I don't need to include Doom, Quake and the others here? :-)

Well, appart from things like the latest games.

Lots of games will take advantage of extra ram. I seem to remember Walker taking advantage of more processor power? At least it detected the CPU and did something, but I'm not 100% certain.

hotrod: i play jaguar here on my 060 and it aint too fast! , it seems you have a timer issue , are you on an amiga 4000 maybe ?

i use an 1200 so..., no problems.

cheers

pps: to ADA , almost evrygame is faster on a better cpu , like flight sims etc , but basically you just need to think abit as there is probably like 1000\s of games that support more chip ram and cpu etc , and ofcourse FAST MEM helps alot on games like guardian !

We noticed that Kick Off 2 is slightly faster on a A1200 with fast RAM than whwn it runs on a A1200 without fast ram...

On an '060, you can finally move around in Bard's Tale 3 without the music skipping...:P

But seriously, anything 3D or even close (like
SimCity2000) is much better on a faster
processor. With older "A500" style games the
benefits are less apparent. Wings is a little
smoother.

I have absolutely no idea which game should I play. Is there a SimCity 2000 for our beloved Amigas?
