Classic Clinic at AmiWest 2009
« on: July 15, 2009, 10:43:51 PM »
That's right! We've been spending quite a bit of time developing a new feature for AmiWest 2009 - the Classic Clinic! We'll have some knowledgeable Amiga classic guys here with soldering irons in hand and parts available to buy (or bring your own!) to rehab your classic Amiga machines.

It all happens on Friday evening, October 16, 2009, from 6 PM until 10 PM. Please let us know if you plan on coming so we can know how many people to plan for. Right now, we have four or five classic Amiga techs standing by to help rehab your classic Amiga hardware.

Yes, it's going to be a good show. Make your plans NOW to attend!

I will be there for sure, and I think the Classic Clinic is a great idea.

Also, for those who don't know yet, AmiWest 2009 has been extended to include Sunday as well as Friday evening and all day Saturday, thanks to an anonymous sponsor.

Thanks to who ever you are for the extra day.
How are you helping the Amiga community? :)

Wow.... That's a really great idea on the Classic Clinic.  How cool...  What a great way to build good will and help people out with their hobby!  It goes perfect with the old Amiga spirit.

Too bad it's most of the way across the country from me.  I'd like a road trip, but I don't think I could convince my wife or employer on this one.  :(

Oh Hell Yeah!  Maybe I can get on of my working A3640s refurbished. (caps)
Got a couple of floppys that could be looked over to see if there's any life left in them.
'Doctor! She's going into cardiac arrest. Quickly, before she flatlines!
