Amiga 1000 - remove daughterboard with kickstart adapter?
« on: June 10, 2009, 10:11:08 AM »
Hi folks,
Well, I'm trying to build my monster 1000, and have hit troubles at the first hurdle :D

I am trying to fit a CSA Mega Midget Racer into it, and it point blank will not fit in there with the daughtercard in.  (Well, it probably would, but the 68000 socket adaptor would be a plumbing nightmare!)

I'm using one of DJBase's kickstart adaptors.  Is it possible to remove the daughtercard and still have the 1000 work?
Celebrating 21... no, make that 27... years of Amiga use

Time to use one more 68000 socket under the accelerator to clear space?
Goodbye people.

I\'ll pop on from time to time, RL is acting up.
