Intel gets hammered--by AMD
AMD has released some new information about their upcoming chips including information on their next generation 64bit Clawhammer chips. The first Clawhammers will be 10cms across, which is about half the size of Intels Pentium4 chips and half the size of the first Itaniums. Clawhammers wont be shipping until sometime next year, but a new line of 1.5Ghz+ Athlons will be available later this year.
