Default Eyetech siamese RTG 2.5 Ethernet system

Does anyone have this software they want to sell or possibly point me in the right direction?

I have it. It was produced by HiSoft, not Eyetech, One of the chaps responsible for it posted here a couple of months ago.

It's no longer sold and you need a Win95/98/ME machine to use it. I had it working once when XP first came out (it may need to have XP installed on a FAT32 partition, or the service packs have broken it).

Anyone does know if this program works with Windows 7 64 bits?
I can't make it work, though i have set up the IP part on the PC and the Amiga.
I would like to use the share printer part (but may be only LPT printers can work and no USB) and the RTG part.

I still haven't had the time to try it on a Windows 7 machine yet.

Can you get any of it (clipboard, RTG, mouse control, etc) to work? Have you tried setting the compatability settings on Windows 7 to "XP" for Siamese?

COOL!

I have been wanting to try this for the longest time with my A1200. I have a PCMCIA wireless, so we'll see how it goes. I'll try the windows portion under VirtualBOX because I already have an XP setup...

it would be really cool if i could reverse engineer the protocol make a client for Android devices.

oops! not fast enough. is there any way i can get the file?

thanks.

Yes settings are for the XP SP2 compatiblity mode and i have allowed access through the Seven firewall. I do not have the usual message about non executable software with x64.

No service works so far from the amiga although the RTG mode are listed in Screenmodes.

Thanks Xanxi. If I ever find the time I'll experiment myself. I want to see if I can get my Minimig to work over the serial link and do RTG. It used to work like a charm back when I had my A1200 hooked up to an old Pentium 1 using Windows 98.

@Darrin
sadly the Amiga client just crashes on the Minimig v1.1, but it may work on another FPGA Amiga with a slightly different minimig core as the specification on the box says it should work on 68000 CPU or maybe its only older serial only versions that work :-( without an 020 or higher CPU.
