Dear thieving c***s,
I am writing with regard to the bike wheel you stole from me last night, you worthless, selfish piece of s**t. I hope the money you make from selling it helps you to buy fags, booze, condoms and mobile phone credit for some of your revolting, obese s**g children. I am a student and cannot afford to replace what you have taken from me, but please think nothing of the inconvenience this will cause, nor of how upset I am that some unemployed, worthless dole scum piece of s**t has come in to my property and stolen from me. I understand that stealing from people may cause you some inconvenience also, due to the unsociable hours. I may have a solution for you: get a f**king job.

Sorry to hear about your brother's motorbike. It basically comes down to the fact that people are arseholes. I have been coming to that conclusion for most of my life, and it was confirmed once and for all when someone decided to cave in one of the panels on my car. The excess on my insurance to have it repaired was £300, which caused me significant financial problems. Especially seeing how it happened twice. I had no choice but to repair it as it was a leased vehicle.
As I said before, people are arseholes.

Ah yes I so much feel your woes. I cursed those f**kheads who stole my bike a while ago 'til the 200th generation of descendants. I searched the whole city centre for that person to rip his backbone out of his body and make him eat his own eyes, and things like that.

My other half is checking our CCTV. Looks like we have caught them on camera. So I'll be on the lookout for them! If I catch them, I'll rip out their backbones and make them eat their own eyes for you Speel - maybe that will make you feel a bit better ;-)

Btw. next time make sure you've got a very strong chain lock (you know, with solid steel chain links), and chain the bicycle frame (preferably including the front wheel) to an object like a traffic sign or street lantern.
Attaching a second lock isn't a bad idea either. It dramatically reduces the chance of it being stolen. When my bicycle was stolen, I didn't have taken these measures and locked the bicycle with a standard lock.

Things like this really piss me off! I am well aware just how hard it is to get by in this life and make ends meet, so when I see someone trying to do their best... Following the rules and dealing with the crap life throws at them, I feel proud and want to help... Which is why when I see someone cheating, taking the easy way, it drives me mad! Made worse by the fact that they did this to someone I know personally, and who I know and have seen work hard and push themselves! :-x

@Lorraine, Eyso, Matt and Cecilia
Your replies are the only thing that have made me smile and saved this day from being miserable. So, thanks for cheering me up. Oh, and we got excellent pictures of the offenders on our CCTV. I plan to print them out as large as possible and laminate them along with a sign saying something like "These people stole my bike wheel. If you know who they are please let me know!". Who knows, it might work. I know that in the grand scheme of things having a bike wheel stolen is not the end of the world. But it will cause me a massive inconvenience, and the worst part is knowing that the offenders came on to our property, our home, to do it. Very upsetting really. I can't even begin to imagine what it must be like for your house to be broken in to and know that someone was in your house! @Speel I have got a practically indestructible bike chain but don't chain up the wheels. It never occurred to me that the wheels alone would be desirable to a thief :roll: @Bloodline Speaking of pushing myself, I finished a new song yesterday. That's 5 so far for the album :-) Cheers again guys!

At least considering the huge amount of bicycles (and often parked near each other) here in NL, you have to take this seriously into account. Quote:

Well, my other half picked me up from the train station today and brought me home. We we pulled up to the house I saw that he had bought me a new cover for my bike. I made a sarcastic comment that was a bit late for that, but he insisted I come and have a look at it. When I got close enough I saw a new wheel poking out from underneath! I pulled back the cover and saw that attached to the new wheel was a whole new bike!!!!! I can't believe it :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) I think I'll keep this one in the garden instead of on the drive way...

![]() Yes, I must now go and tend to that burning pile of twisted metal and rubber in the garden... clickyclickyclickyclickyclickyclickyclickyclickycl ickyclickyclickyclicky Speel - note the way two chains are used to secure the bike and both wheels ;-) This one will live in the garden, as it wouldn't susprise me if the thieves came back for more, and when they found that the couldn't steal it decided to kick it to pieces instead...

They just can pick it up and cut the chains at home, AND which isn't a difficult job because the chains you use are, if you pardon my french, lousy. You really need those with solid chains, like this one: ![]() Very nice bicycle btw. :-) but I fear thieves will think that too. Best to have a grey boring bike with certain aspects of which it can be identified with.
