Amiga Marketplace This forum is here so that members can alert other members to Amiga items they've seen on eBay (or other auctions). If you are selling Amiga items on eBay, you might let us know about them here. Likewise, if you're selling Amiga items sans eBay, this is the "for sale" forum.

Picked up MakeCD 3.2 at AmiWest for cheap. Found the list mentioned.

Dude, MakeCD was released as freeware! :-D

Yeah, I know, but getting files from my HP (no floppy) to my Amiga is a major hassle. They aren't "online" either...
Besides, $2 was worth having the original disc, manual and box.

Gotcha, should...
Thanks

Deneb and Poseidon support USB DVD-RW, right? Does anyone have any information on how well these work? Seems to me a reasonable way to go if the performance is on-par and we have software compatibility.

To me a DENEB + USB DVD-RW seems a lot of money to burn a few disks.

Wouldn't any speed benefits of a Deneb be negated by the speed of your hard drive? Unless you had a USB hard drive too or a Cyberstorm PPC/MKIII UW SCSI 3.

For short-term, yeah, that's a lot of dough. But for long-term, a wise investment in my estimation, especially for the other options USB provides.

In my case, yes, MKIII with an UW drive. Deneb will be my Christmas gift to myself most certainly.
