Default Impact Vision 24 infos

Hello everybody,
I recently purchased on eBay an Impact Vision 24 together with the basic breakout box.
The little switch on the board, however, is broken so a replacement is needed. I've already seen on RS Components catalog a suitable part but I'm not sure about the right type of switch to order.

Two options are available:

2 positions (ON-ON)
3 positions (ON-OFF-ON)

What is the right type mounted on a IV24? I suspect a 2 positions is right (it should enable/disable the flicker-fixer) but a confirm from a collector/user would be very welcome since I have only the board, no manuals.
Also I've noticed this board is an authentic vampire of electrical power: it warms a lot and after some time the other Zorro boards stops to properly function.
My A4000D is normally equipped with a WarpEngine 4040 (128 Mb), an A4091 and a CyberVision64. The scandoubler is a Compserve Scandoubler II (full size board) and this configuration never give me a problem after many hours of heavy use.
When I tested the ImpactVision (swapping it with Compserve board), the A4091 and CyberVision disappeared from system (they went no more recognized by the Amiga) in about an hour. No reboot was succesful after, only switching off the Amiga leaving the temperature to drop helped.
I remember in the past when I was a 4000T user that another ImpactVision almost melt the main power connector plugged on the Amiga board!
At this point I think the only safe way to use this board is on a towerized 4000 where the current is usually supplied directly from a strong PSU to the (alternative) Zorro backplane otherwise the load on the bus would became too strong.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Default Re: Impact Vision 24 infos

In the meantime I've discovered around the web the info I was needed: the rear switch on the IV24 is a three-way type (ON-OFF-ON). I reply here just in case someone else could be interested.
